Mission: building resilience in children and families
Resilience: a lifesaving skill to be taught, learned, and practiced
Building Resilience.
The Troy Resilience Project was founded in 2019 by a local pediatrician to build resilience in the children in her community. Since then TRP has earned membership in the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers by applying an evidence-based approach to resilience. TRP's dedicated staff of professionals now serves nearly 1000 individuals in eight counties. TRP builds resilience by workforce development, mental health service coordination, Healthy Families America Home Visiting, Sprout Early Learning Center and early childhood programs.
