Tammy Killingsworth, MEd - MHSC

Tammy is our new Mental Health Services Coordinator with Troy City Schools. She is a pike county native. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in 1991 and her master’s degree in special education in 1995. Tammy comes from a teaching background where she taught at Covington County for 21 years and then taught at Zion Chapel for 13 years before she retired to take this position.

Maggie Doss, LMSW - Executive Director

Maggie has a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and wears many hats at TRP! She is the Assistant Executive Director of Troy Resilience and Mental Health Services Coordinator for Pike County Schools. Maggie is a certified Parent Project facilitator, certified Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) Therapist, and certified HealthyRhythms facilitator. When she’s not at work, Maggie enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Morgan Riley, BSW - Family Resilience

Morgan Riley is one of two of our Family Resilience Specialists! Morgan is a Troy native and received her BSW from Troy University. She has plans to begin her master's in social work in January. She is excited to serve families in the community that she grew up in. When she is not at work, she is spending time with her dogs, family, or friends!

Ellen Doss, MEd - Director Sprout ELC

Ellen Doss retired after teaching for 33 years in Blount County Schools and Birmingham City Schools to become the Director of Sprout Early Learning Center. Ellen has a passion for educating diverse learners and her experience in elementary education and reading intervention drives her leadership at Sprout. She is married and has two children one who is a proud graduate of Troy University and one who is currently enrolled in Troy.

Tabitha Sanders is one of two of our Healthy Families Troy Workers. Tabitha is from Jack, AL. She is a Zion Chapel Rebel and attended Troy University. She has previously served in several support roles in public education as well as having an extensive background in serving children and the elderly. She is excited to meet and serve the families in Pike County and surrounding service areas. Tabitha is married and has 5 children and 10 grandchildren.

Shannon Staggs - Workforce Development

Shannon is a military brat and has lived all the world with the last 25 years in Troy. She is working on her Bachelor’s in Social Work. She is the coordinator for Alabama Resources for Enrichment, Self-sufficiency and Employability Training (A-RESET) providing skills/resources to overcome barriers to employment.

Savannah Williams, BS - Healthy Families

Savannah Williams is one of two of our Healthy Families Troy Workers. Savannah is from Kinston, AL. She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Professional Health Sciences with a concentration in Management from the University of South Alabama. She is married with two daughters. She is very excited to meet all the new people this position will bring and foster relationships to better our community.

Alexis Gramling, MSW - Family Resilience

Alexis Gramling is one of two of our Family Resilience Specialists! Alexis was born and raised in Wisconsin, she attended Troy University for her undergraduate degree as well as her masters degree in Social Work. She is currently a LMSW holding a license in Texas with plans to transition to Alabama. Alexis is most excited about the opportunity to get plugged into our local OCAP Head Start Centers, Schools, and other partner agencies and get the chance to work with and get to know the kids in our community.

Clint Relyea, MBA, EdD

Clint has his MBA and Doctorate in Education is Director of the Global Scholars Program and Associate Professor of Management for the Sorrell College of Business. Clint travels the world for work and in his free time.

Pastor Tyrone B. Moultry

Tyrone Attended Charles Henderson High School and is a member of the class of 1989. He has 3 children (2 boys and a girl) and has been Senior Pastor of Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church since 2003. 

Tyesha Durr, LPC, IMH-E®

Tyesha is the State Reflective Practice Coordinator for Alabama and is certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and holds a post masters degree in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health. She provides Individual Counseling, Consults, and Family/Relationship building services for children. Tyesha enjoys spending time with her family and researching real estate in her spare time.

Elizabeth Dawson, MD

Dr. Dawson is founder and President of TRP. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician and is certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and provides trauma assessments for TRP. She is trained in SMART Therapy, HealthRhythms, and Circle of Security Parenting as well. Dr. Dawson Received national recognition in 2023 receiving the Ray E. Helfer MD award from the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance and the American Academy of Pediatrics for her local and national efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect. She was names as one of the 2024 Alabama Women Who Shape the State.

Major Ternisha M Jones, MA, JD

Ternisha is a lifelong resident of Pike County, Alabama and a Goshen High School graduate.  She completed a BA from Lagrange College and received a Master’s degree in International Relations from Troy, University.  Thereafter, she received a Juris Doctor Degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.  She is currently an Assistant District Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit and is also a Judge Advocate in the Alabama Army National Guard.  She is married to Phillip Jones and they have two children, Cobi and Ava Jones. 

Nichelle Payton Green, BA

Nichelle is a historian with a Bachelor’s degree in American History and Broadcast Journalism. She works as a Libriarian at Montgomery County Public Libraries, Nichelle enjoys time with her family, reading and watching classic films.
